How long COVID counselling works
Exhaustion, lack of concentration, shortness of breath – the symptoms experienced by long COVID sufferers are many and varied. You discuss your current ailments and situation with the CSS Health Coach. How is your day-to-day life and what is your work situation?
Successful return to everyday activities
We’ll look for suitable solutions together and clear up your questions about therapies or employment law. The aim is to let you get back to your normal day-to-day activities. The Health Coaches are supported in this by the Altea Long COVID Network.

Time required
The initial discussion with the CSS Health Coach usually takes between 30 and 60 minutes. The next steps will be agreed with you personally in each session.

Altea's mission is to inform patients, relatives and medical professionals about all aspects of long COVID. Altea puts those affected in touch with the right contact persons and offers them a protected platform for exchange in the Community Forum.
No. The CSS Health Coaches will answer any questions you have on health-related topics. The information they provide is generally applicable and doesn't include an assessment of your own health situation. It is therefore no substitute for a personal consultation, examination or diagnosis by a recognised doctor. Depending on the situation, this information can be a useful addition to the dialogue between doctors and patients.
For persons insured with CSS, the first consultation is free of charge. There may be a charge for any further sessions.
No. CSS Health Coaches don't issue commitments to provide cover, except for health offers and second opinions.
