Baunscheidt Method

Needled instruments and special oils are used to create an artificial skin rash to promote the body's natural healing process; developed by German mechanic and lay therapist Carl Baunschneidt (1809–1873)

The Baunscheidt Method involves pricking the skin in certain places with a needled instrument developed by Baunscheidt. The area is then treated with a special Baunscheidt oil made using croton, juniper and mustard oils, which creates local inflammation and the formation of small blisters, The discharge from these blisters rids the body of foreign and toxic substances and strengthens the immune system.

The inappropriate use the irritant oils can cause considerable harm.

Aim: to remove pathogens from the body via the skin, and to stimulate the immune system.
