Tips and tricks

Vacancies for apprentices:
New apprenticeships in German- and French-speaking Switzerland are posted at the beginning of August, those for Italian-speaking Switzerland in January.

Before applying:
Make sure you are properly informed. Does this career match your abilities? Do you fit the profile? Do your school grades meet the requirements?

Taster day:
Visit one of our taster days to learn more about CSS and your dream job. Current trainees will be happy to answer your questions as they guide you through the day.

Multicheck:
Although not mandatory, a Multicheck or, in the case of polygraphic specialists, Viscom aptitude test is advantageous.

Application dossier:
Take time to assemble your dossier and try to stand out from the crowd. Check your dossier again one last time before sending it. We expect to receive a complete and error-free dossier in electronic form.

Choosing a photo:
On opening the application dossier, it is impossible not to look at the photo. This first impression already reveals a lot of information about you as a person. Therefore, your choice of photo should not be taken lightly. Avoid using a photo in which you are showing off or in which you appear scruffy or provocative.
