Rhythmic massage

An anthroposophic method developed by doctor Ita Wegman on the basis of classic massage.

A variety of massage techniques (stroking, kneading and percussive techniques) are used to treat muscles and connective tissue. The rhythm of this massage is in the fluid transitions between techniques, as well as in the sequence of the treatment session as a whole. This form of massage releases muscle tension and stress, and has a positive effect on breathing and digestion.

Aim:

To soothe or stimulate the patient, in particular to create warmth and to improve circulatory disorders
