Shiatsu

A Japanese form of pressure-point massage (Japanese form of Chinese acupressure).

The fingertips, thumbs, palms, elbows and feet are used to apply pressure to certain areas of the body (muscles, joints, skin) in a circular motion. It focuses primarily on the points familiar from acupuncture. Treatment also involves gentle stretching and joint rotation. This eliminates disordered energy flow and thus alleviates a range of symptoms.

Aim:

To relieve pain, promote circulation and strengthen the nervous and immune systems
