Sophrology according to Caycedo

Relaxation method developed by Colombian doctor Alfonso Caycedo in 1960.

The origins of this method are to be found in autogenic training, yoga and Zen Buddhism. The objective is to achieve a state of deep relaxation by breathing consciously and by directing the attention. Sophrology exercises may be done while standing, sitting or lying down.
