Diversity – living diversity
We promote diversity in a deliberate and responsible way. Blended teams with a broad range of knowledge, abilities, language skills and outlooks not only boost innovation and competitiveness, they also add to the motivation and satisfaction of every single employee.
Equality
We attach great importance to equal opportunities. Progressive conditions of employment ensure that all employees have the same opportunities. Flexible working time and part-time models apply at every management level.
To help women thrive in management roles, we're a member of Advance – Gender Equality in Business. This network of over 100 Swiss-based companies is committed to increasing the share of women in management. Membership enables our female employees to attend various skill-building and networking events.
Our in-house women's network, rendez femmes, encourages and supports women in sharing their experiences with one another. And our newly launched mentoring programme gives employees the chance to benefit from the practical experience of others and identify their own development needs.
Equal pay
According to the Federal Office for Gender Equality, there are still great differences in pay here in Switzerland. CSS was awarded the Fair Compensation certificate by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) again in 2022 in recognition of its commitment to equal pay for equal work within the company.

Advancement and continuing professional development
We are keen to help our employees advance throughout their entire career. We want to provide them with the best possible support in their career planning and point them in the direction of development opportunities. We do so by offering them personal evaluations of their careers and skills and helping them attend internal and external training courses.

Cooperating across languages
As a company that is present throughout Switzerland, we work in three of its national languages – French, German and Italian – and are thus attuned to the cultural differences between each language region. We also give our employees the chance to attend language courses. The basic rule in our day-to-day work is that everyone can communicate in their own mother tongue.
