Manuel Waldisberg – HR Manager Vocational Training

I've been part of CSS since 2009. I started out in HR Learning, then moved on to Leadership Development and Recruitment & Employer Branding. Now, as an HR Manager specialising in vocational training, I play an active role in shaping the future of CSS.

Why am I committed to vocational education and training at CSS?

Working with young people is varied and meaningful. I enjoy accompanying talented youngsters on their journey to becoming responsible, self-reliant employees.

The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.

Who am I outside CSS?

I love spending time with my family and being outdoors in nature – hiking, jogging or biking. And, as a rickshaw driver, I get to meet new people and hear their stories.

What do I particularly appreciate about working with apprentices?

Young talents bring fresh ideas, new perspectives and energy to the company. Their motivation is infectious, and I learn a lot from them myself – about new technologies and from their views on topical issues.
