Martina Ellenberger – vocational trainer

For over ten years, I’ve worked as a vocational trainer in IT Application and Platform Development. Over that time, what began as a small group has grown into a thriving training department with around 30 motivated apprentices.

Why am I committed to vocational education and training at CSS?

Working with young people is incredibly varied and inspiring. I was fortunate enough to enjoy an excellent apprenticeship myself, and I’m really committed to giving my apprentices just as strong and motivating a start to their professional lives. Vocational training is not just a job for me; it’s a true calling. It fills me with pride and joy to see apprentices grow and develop throughout their training, blossoming into confident, capable professionals.

The greatest gift we can give another person is to believe in their potential before they believe in it themselves.

Who am I outside CSS?

In my spare time, I love being out and about with my family, especially in the great outdoors. Whether hiking, cycling or skiing, I always find renewed energy from being physically active in the fresh air and nature.

What do I particularly appreciate about working with apprentices?

Apprentices bring a breath of fresh air to a company. Each one is unique, and that’s what creates the exciting and varied dynamic in our day-to-day work. Every day brings something new. It’s also a real joy to watch young people develop – both professionally and personally – over the course of their four-year training programme.
