EnableMe

Self-help community

EnableMe is a growing self-help community where people living with a visible or invisible disability or chronic disease as well as their relatives and friends can find information and share experiences. The online forum is anonymous and free of charge, and is run by the non-profit, operating and donation-funded MyHandicap foundation, established in 2014 by Joachim Schoss. Visitors to the portal will find all kinds of information, tips and experience reports on disabilities, diseases and related issues.

Through the experiences shared in the online community, those affected can gain new perspectives and receive understanding and recognition. The direct support that is offered to people with disabilities and their relatives includes job and apprenticeship platforms, peer programmes, specialist networks and a support centre for parents of children with disabilities.
