Marsh mallow tea

Required material

  • 1 - 2 tsp marsh mallow leaves
  • 1 cup boiling water


Pour a cup of boiling water over 1 to 2 teaspoons of marsh mallow leaves, leave to infuse for approx. 10 minutes, strain and drink in sips.

2 to 4 cups per day for a tickly cough or sore throat. Can also help for gastric irritation such as stomach ache or heartburn.


Marsh mallow leaves can have the following effects:

  • Mucus-forming
  • Soothing
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Antibacterial
