Mustard flour footbath

Required material

1 - 2 level teaspoons mustard flour

1 bucket with warm water

A warm footbath with mustard flour can help for colds, sinusitis and the sniffles, especially when the nasal passages have to be cleared out.

Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of mustard flour (don’t exceed this dose) to a bucket of warm water and bathe the feet for a maximum of 10 minutes, once a day only.

Rinse and dry the feet well and put on warm socks. Ideally, rest for about 15 minutes afterwards.

Don't take an increasing-temperature footbath if you have severe varicose veins (varices) or a cardiovascular disease (high blood pressure).
