Valerian root tea

Required material

2 tsp valerian root

200 - 300 ml boiling water


Leave the tea to infuse for 10 hours, then strain and warm again slightly. Drink the tea in sips before going to bed.

Don’t use for more than 3 weeks at a time, as it could cause headaches.

Pharmacies also sell a variety of valerian preparations.


Valerian root tea can have the following effects:
